I’ve just returned from a month-long trip to Europe.

I’m currently on sabbatical in Arizona writing the follow up to Harlem’s Awakening.

What does this also mean? In between running from giant palo verde beetles,

fighting heat rash, dust storms and Monsoon’s,

I’m also secretly watching many episodes of Law & Order and helping my mom fix stuff around the house; so that means climbing on the roof to fix the swamp cooler, repairing gutters and watering her garden.

I am a true renaissance woman.
